04 GTO manual transmission reverse issue fixed.
I have had a grinding/reverse would not engage issue for some time. Finally removed transmission and extension housing and found reverse shift fork pads were damaged. After replacement of the fork pads and gear set. Installed all removed parts and found reverse issue is now gone.
