GM Performance LSX 454 Long Block Engine 7.4L, Iron Block 11:1
These Chevrolet Performance Parts LSX 454 crate engines are filled with an all-forged, super-tough rotating assembly and feature a pair of new Chevrolet Performance deep-breathing LSX 6-bolt cylinder heads. They also come dressed with great looking, all-new orange powdercoated valve covers with an engraved LSX454 logo. With a carburetor and high-flow Chevrolet Performance Parts intake manifold (sold separately), they are good for about 620 hp and 600 ft.-lbs. of torque--or about 580 hp and 600 ft.-lbs. with fuel injection. Due to the number of application variations, the Chevrolet Performance Parts LSX 454 crate engines do not include an oil pan, and the valve covers do not include provisions for mounting the ignition coil brackets.
