For use in Gen IV (2007-2013) engines only which have the camshaft sensor on front timing cover. Will not work with 2006 & earlier Gen III engines with the cam sensor located behind the intake manifold.
Looking for a cost-effective camshaft solution to delete the DOD/AFM system? This is an OEM GM cam that comes standard on Non-DOD 5.3L trucks. Since these come as single bolt cams, a new timing gear wont be necessary and it will work with oem valve springs and pushrods. This is an OEM camshaft that comes standard on Non-DOD 5.3L Trucks. This cam is a single bolt cam which can be used with or without VVT. If your engine cam from the factory with DOD/AFM lifters you will also need our DOD Lifter Delete kit. A fairly stock truck shouldn't require dyno tuning, however the DOD system must be disabled in the ECU for proper functionality.
