85-92 Firebird 5 Speed Manual Shifter Plate w/ Boot, New Reproduction -
Note: This is made to fit your Firebird whether you have power windows and mirror or you have manual windows and mirrors. If you have manual windows and mirrors you will not have to do anything, if you have power windows and mirrors you will need to cut out the shifter plate for your switches (the places you need to cut out are embossed on the backside, see pictures)

Nice piece, switch cut outs were marked for easy cutout, only down fall is stitching on boot loose. Wouldn't keep me from getting again
Easy install and feels little stronger. I needed to install power window and mirror swiches, and positions were easy to recognize. Some type of recommendation would have helped for removal of the inserts. Combination of a dreamed, box knife and drill got it done.
Part looks great and fits awesome. If you have window switches or mirror adjustments you will have to cut them out but the bottom of the plate has marked spots
I ordered this shifter plate with my 6 speed T56 swap and was pleasantly surprised at how perfect of a fit it was. My 700R4 plate was looking worn and the ash tray door was broke, but this took care of all of that. I popped out the 5 speed inlay plate and popped in the 6 speed plate with no trouble. The power window switch holes were easy to cut, but take your time. The center console looks factory new and I couldn't be more satisfied.
Wow what a nice reproduction piece really cleans up a old dingy console. I was scared to cut into it but with the outlines so clearly indented into the panel and a cheap dremmel it was a breeze. Plus the switches overlap the holes so need to stress about a perfect cut.
I installed the reproduction shift plate with the optional T56 shift pattern indicator. The plate looks excellent and the T56 indicator looks factory. I am very pleased with the fit and finish. The cutting for the power window and mirror switch took some time due to the thickness of the plastic but turned out very nice. The shift plate appears very durable and I anticipate it will last for many years.
I got this in the mail and fist thing I noticed was it's stunning. The leather sleeve is nice, the design is spot on, the cigerette hatch door works perfectly. The only draw back and they told me about this ahead of time was I have to cut my own holes for power windows and mirrors. I have tested fitted it and it looks to fit perfect.
