This kit is amazing. It takes all the guess work out of it (comes with everything!). Hawks is super helpful and willing to work with you on your specific build. Couldn't be happier!

With help from Ryan at Hawks we put together a package that would work with my Gen 1 383 SBC instead of the LS this kit is set up for. Only real issues were, for some reason once the transmission was installed the trans mount was about 1" to far back so I had to make some modifications to the cross member. The QuickTime bell housing that was required to attach the LS style T-56 to the SBC required a couple modifications to keep my long tube headers. Also, do to the Dana 44 rear axle which already pushed my driveshaft and torque are up closer to the trans it now required that my driveshaft and torque are be shortened. Finally my 87' Formula is a stick!! Love it!

As advertised, bolted right in car with no clearance issues!
