Quick Overview
PLEASE READ:
It has come to our attention that the 2016+ Cadillac CTS-V with the 8-speed automatic transmission can present clearance issues. These areas MUST be checked during installation of carbon or aluminum driveshafts:
1 – The center gas tank bolt must be removed.
2 – The gas tank insulation stickers must be removed.
3 – The exhaust heat shields must be removed from the driveshaft tunnel and the heat shield mounting studs must be ground flush with the tunnel.
4 – The transmission tunnel brace forward of the gas tank must be cut away to avoid contacting the driveshaft weights during hard cornering.
FAILURE TO FOLLOW THESE INSTRUCTIONS MAY CAUSE DRIVESHAFT DAMAGE AND VOID THE WARRANTY.
Available now for the 2016+ CTS-V is our 4" aluminum shaft with CV . We have done extensive testing with stock rears and believe this to be the most cost-effective and trouble-free drive shaft for the CTS available today. The shaft will come with our signature billet plates for each end so you don't have to go into the rear, taking a chance on upsetting the crush collar. Our shaft comes with a 300m stub system mounted into a billet aluminum plate to ensure not only strength but lighter weight than the normal way of doing this type of end (look closely at the CV end it's not all steel). The shaft only weighs 20lbs and comes with special grade 12.9 uber strength hardware with back up lock nuts to ensure no loose bolts. We have been using this billet aluminum style plate for over 10 years on thousands of 1000+Hp Supras, BMWs and many more without any bolt issues. 1 year warranty
