Looking for the maximum amount of air flow for your 98-02 LS1 F-Body? This kit comes with a Hawks 104mm air lid, our new 100mm made in the USA billet 100mm MAF housing with OEM LS3/LS7 sensor designed for maximum air flow and a 4" Flexible Coupler to attach the MAF to the Air Lid.
The large diameter, low restriction Hawks Motorsports 100 mm MAF kit provides accurate airflow measurement while producing very little restriction, even at very high power levels.
This MAF sensor will NOT work with stock engine programming and requires recalibration of the factory PCM or ECM. You will need EFILive, HPTuners, LS1 Edit, TunerCat or other similar software programs to recalibrate the MAF curve.

Installation Notes:
NOTE: 1998-2002 Camaro SS OWNERS: Factory and aftermarket SS hoods may experience rubbing on the hood. This can be addressed by putting some adhesive tape or the soft adhesive Velcro in the contact spot to prevent paint scuffing. This same problem occurs with SLP and other aftermarket lids as well.
NOTE: 1998-2002 Camaro Z28: Most Camaro Z28's have experienced no problems. A few have experienced minor rubbing. In two isolated Z28 applications, the customer was unable to close the hood. This can be rectified by modification of the lower airbox assembly and/or hood.
NOTE: 1998-2002 Firebird, WS6 and Firehawk: The MAF outlet side of lid will hit the lower air box assembly of RAM AIR equipped cars. This can be rectified by modification of the lower airbox assembly.
NOTE: Aftermarket Hoods (other than Camaro SS): No reported issues of any kind.
