I am doing some work on the rear hatch and wing so this was the perfect time to fix the loose pull down latch. After contemplating a few vendors guides I decided to go with Hawks based on the solid construction in the pictures. I place the order and with in 4 business days they showed up nicely packaged with instructions. I removed my latch from the car and seperated the latch assembly from the track section. after removing the old guides I placed the Hawks guides on the tabs. They went on with out an issue, A little surprised I examined the fit and verified I put them on correctly. Next I slid the assembly back together and found it fit perfectly with no slop and no force needed. These were clearly made to an exact clearance. I am very pleased I went with these

These replacement guides are made from solid material and fit the factory supports. The solid material should last much longer than the factory molded ones that crumble to bits after several years. They come with instructions for installation which are easy to follow. Pat attention to the fit of the guides in the steel rails. The rails are not made with much precision and may need some adjustment so that the new guides slide with minimal friction also use a good grease for lubrication. With these guides installed my hatch pull down works like new.
