This template allows you to convert an automatic 3rd gen to a manual.
The template makes it easy to mark where to cut the firewall while avoiding headaches and making the process super easy.
Verified fitment with the 3rd, 4th and Hawks pedal assemblies. This template uses the stock steering column holes as a reference point.
Template works with:
- 1985-1992 Camaro/Firebird clutch master cyl.
- 1993-2002 Camaro/Firebird clutch master cyl.
- Hawks & Tick aftermarket 4th gen clutch master cyl.
If you use a OEM master cyl, it's good practice to cut a slightly smaller center hole.
This template will work on automatic equipped 1982-1984 cars but does NOT work on 82-84 cars that came with a 4 speed manual. (The Z-Bar setup).
