UMI’s 3-way adjustable rear sway bar controls body roll and improves cornering performance of the 2nd Gen F-body platform. Race quality rod ends improve handling response. Sway bar rate is easily tuned to achieve desired handling balance. UMI 2636 mounting plates are available for cars not originally equipped with a sway bar or if repair is required. 100% Made In USA.

Fitment Notes:
1970-1973: Rear sway bars were not standard equipment, therefore frame rails do not have threaded bosses for sway bar mounting, UMI PN 2636 must be installed. Factory Z28 and Trans Am had mounting brackets welded on the chassis to allow use of some sway bars. Removal of these brackets is required and UMI PN 2636 must be installed in order to use 2634 or 2635 rear sway bars.
1974-1981: Frame rails have mounting bosses for sway bar brackets. If undamaged, these are used with UMI 2634 and 2635 rear sway bar. 2636 can be used as a repair plate if the factory threads or mounting area is damaged.
